A Community Unites Around Terretta Howard and Family

Next month, the music community in Wilmington, Delaware will be gathering at The Queen theater for a fundraiser to benefit local singer and performer Terretta Howard and her family. Howard, who was stuck by a vehicle on June 14, is still in the hospital working towards recovery. She still struggles to open her eyes and move. For a singer who is currently without speech, the music community in Delaware, and around the country, has become her voice. Her manager Ken is still sharing her music and her message day after day encouraging strong thoughts and positive vibes.
On August 31, local event promoter Tri-State Underground, has organized "Community United: A Benefit for Terretta." Information, as per the Facebook event, is below.
"This event is free to the general public and is all ages. We encourage you to join us as we attempt to raise money to help Terretta and her family. When a community unites, great things happen.Terretta Storms latest single, "Take Me Home" is available for purchase , all proceeds will go to benefit Terretta's family. Terretta Storm will perform Howard's songs with guest singers, including Tim Day (Crafting), Azizah Naiala, Kat Pigliacampi (Katagory 5), Sami Urban (Bastion's Wake), El Baraka (Unsigned Soul) and Nadira Norjahan. In addition to the tribute, there will be sets by Darnell Miller, Jea Street Jr., Crafting, Sky King, Ghetto Songbird, Richard Raw and Black Cat Habitat. Donations will be accepted at the door.
